Two All-American pasttimes, the HotRod and the backyard bar-b-que, both with its distinct culture and aesthetic, combine to create this HotRod Bar-b-que. This design build project was a cultural exploration in the ways in which a culture can affect the aesthetic, material, and construction of a design. The construction of the HotRod Bar-b-que involved techniques such as welding, metal-spinning, metal rolling, wireworks, upholstery, powdercoating, and automotive detailing.
